They Can Do It But We Can't?

As the old saying goes: "We can put a man on the moon, but we can't (insert whatever you wish was possible to do in this space)." It appears the Greeks are looking to keep their borders safe with satellites. What an amazing concept. Someone tell Bush before we head back to the Moon, or Mars, we need to get our house in order first. That means sealing up a leaking border that has been porous for too long. Maybe a few of these satellites will help.

Greeks protect borders with satellites

The government is considering launching a network of 12 lightweight satellites into orbit primarily to monitor Greece’s borders for illegal immigration and construction, a source said yesterday. Read more at the link above.
