Thank you Chief Garrett Chamberlain,

Chief Chamberlain (Pictured Above) About two months ago I heard a story about a police officer who actually had the nerve to enforce the law as it is written. The chief held a suspect (Jorge Ramirez) for tresspassing in New Ipswich, NH. The reason this made national headlines is because Ramirez is an illegal alien in the U.S. Immigration authorities refused to take him, so Chief Chamberlain arrested him on tresspassing charges (Trsspassing as an illegal alien. No matter how many times you bring up the word "illegal", it seems to fly right over people's heads.) Anyway, arresting and holding an illegal is a pretty bold move considering the PC leftists hate those who would defend our borders: The military, The Minutemen Border watch, and now, Chief Chamberlain. After hunting down his email online, I sent the chief a thank you note. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a reply. ---- -----Original Message----- From: [] Sent: Wednesday, May 04, 2005 3:31 PM To: 901@nipd.net Subject: Thank you. I wanted to take a moment just to say thank you for actually upholding the law regarding Jorge Ramirez. Political issues aside, laws should be enforced. Lack of respect for the U.S. and its border areas have been a sore subject in most of the southwest for years. I applaud you for actually making an effort in a constructive way instead of turning a blind eye. I hope your example will lead to other towns and states adopting a tougher policy on the illegal alien problem. Thank you again, XXXXXXXXXXXX Dallas, Texas -------------- His reply: XXXXXXXXXX, Thanks for the kind words of support, I will continue this fight as long as necessary to make this great Nation safe and secure for you and your family. Garrett Chamberlain --------------------- And now the national media focuses on the chief again. I would ask that you send him your support via email: 901@nipd.net , and by asking the same of your own local government. If you read the story below, please take note of who is supporting this illegal immigrant, and those who are sneaking across our borders: http://www.afsc.org/iraq/default.htm -anti war: (anti-American?), asking people to: "Join more than 50,000 others in telling Congress and the President to bring the troops home." -Also supporting him is the Mexican consul general in Boston. These are the same people (Mexican consulars) passing out information on how to enter America without getting caught, tips on how to avoid detection once inside the U.S. (ILLEGALLY), and telling how to find and use illegal documents. -------------- Here's the New York Times story. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/07/13/national/13immigrants.html?ei=5065&en=70a9fca935dc7632&ex=1121918400&partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print July 13, 2005 Town Uses Trespass Law to Fight Illegal Immigrants By PAM BELLUCK JAFFREY, N.H., July 12 - One day in April, Jorge Mora Ramírez stopped his car on the side of a road in the small southern New Hampshire town of New Ipswich and was making a cellphone call when a police officer approached him. The officer questioned Mr. Ramírez, a 21-year-old Mexican who acknowledged that he was in the country illegally, and the New Ipswich police tried to get federal immigration authorities to arrest him. But when immigration officials demurred, not considering him a priority given scarce enforcement resources, the police acted on their own. They took the highly unusual step of charging Mr. Ramírez with criminal trespassing, and held him overnight. (SNIP)

Read more at the link above. This is quite possibly the most important issue of our time. It is still unknown whether terrorists have made their way to the U.S. by the Southern border, although there is a strong suspicion they have. It's time to track these people down one by one, and close the border until we can control it.
